Zucchero Fornaciari, born Adelmo Fornaciari in 1955 in Roncocesi, Italy, is one of Italy's most successful artists. He has sold over 80 million records worldwide and won numerous awards, including a Grammy and an MTV Europe Music Award.
Zucchero began his career in the early 1980s and achieved his breakthrough in 1986 with the album "Rispetto". The album was a huge success in Italy and led to Zucchero signing a contract with an American record label.
Zucchero has collaborated with many renowned artists, including Bono, Eric Clapton, Sting, and Luciano Pavarotti. He has also written songs for other artists, including "Unchained Melody" which was recorded by Whitney Houston in 1992.
Zucchero is known for his soulful voice and his eclectic music style that blends elements of rock, blues, soul, and country. He is one of Italy's most beloved and respected artists.
