Hammerfall

Det svenska heavy metal bandet från Göteborg bildades 1993 av gitarristen Oscar Dronjak. Under bandets livstid har medlemmarna bytts ut ett antal gånger men Oscar Dronjak och sångaren Joacim Cans har funnits kvar från första albumet ”Glory to the Brave” till idag. Nu har de även sällskap av David Wallin, Fredrik Larsson och Pontus Norrgren på trummor, bas och gitarr.

Hammerfalls stora genombrott kom med låten ”Hearts on Fire” från albumet ”Crimson Thunder” som sålde över 300 000 exemplar över hela världen. Musikvideon gjordes tillsammans med Sveriges damlandslag i curling inför OS i Turin 2006 och fick stor publicitet.

Andra stora hits från bandet är ”Last Man Standing”, ”Any Means Neccessary” och ”Renegade”.
