Yelawolf är en av de mest intressanta och tongivande rapparna senaste decenniet och det går inte att förneka Yelawolfs betydelse för hiphop sedan debuten "Creekwater" (2005). Med låtar som "Till It's Gone", "Best Friend" (feat. Eminem), "Pop The Trunk", "Daddy's Lambo" och senaste singeln "Opie Taylor" har Alabamarapparen snabbt blivit en fanfavorit världen över.

Han är en hyllad historieberättare där skildringar av en samhällsklass som sällan pratas om - har gjort Yelawolf till ett unikum i musikvärlden. I Yelawolfs musik finns det en slags själ och ett kreativt författarskap som andas lika mycket hiphop som country - lika mycket urban musik som landsortens melankoli och tongångar.
